There’s no need to break the bank to give your living room a fresh, new look. You can easily achieve the update you’re looking for without spending a fortune. Here are some tips on how to refresh your living room.

Paint is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to transform a space. If your living room walls are looking a bit tired, consider giving them a fresh coat of paint. Farrow and Balls most popular current colours are Cornforth White and Ammonite and they reflect the light well.
Another budget-friendly option is to invest in some new throws and pillows. These can add colour and pattern and can be easily changed out when you’re ready for something new. Keep the box or bags they come in and make sure you only put these out on the viewing day so they don’t get ruined by your children.
Sometimes, all your living room needs is a good declutter and some organization. Take some time to go through your items and donate or sell anything you don’t use or love anymore. Once you’ve decluttered, take stock of what you have left and find creative ways to organize and store items so they’re out of sight but easily accessible. For example, if you have a lot of books, consider storing them in baskets or bins instead of haphazardly stacking them on shelves. Not only will this look neater, but it will also free up surface space in your living room. Children seem to love having things that are grown ups to play with so giving them any clutter seems to work well.
Bring in some nature. Plants are not only beautiful; they also purify the air and boost your mood. Adding some greenery to your living room is an easy way to refreshen the space without spending any money. If you don’t have a green thumb, consider buying some fake plants that look realistic but require no maintenance.
